FAITH (1)
"If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye
shall say unto this mountain, be ye removed hence to yonder place; and it shall
removed; and nothing shall be impossible unto you."
In
the Bible the word faith is used many and in religious circles today it is just
a word. But faith is something that
is very real and not just a word.
In
business or on the stock market a person will take a look at the various
companies selling stock and will decide which one will be the best for him to
invest his money in. He has faith in
that company because he put his money where his mouth is.
When
you have faith in God that means you stopped talking and started doing.
When
you have faith that you can heal, you have started putting your hands on people
and asked for healings either by direct contact or the word.
Faith is an action word, without faith you couldn't move a muscle.
A
newly born baby learns how to walk through faith. That new baby has seen those
around him walking and by those around him saying you can walk.
By faith he stands on his feet -- he puts one foot in front of the other.
He may stumble and fall a few times but he will walk.
If
he would have sat and thought within himself, I wonder if I can do it, he would
have been sitting there for ninety years wondering if he could do it.
When
a person has faith this means that he'll get up and try doing that which is
there to do and he will keep right on trying until he succeeds.
The
term faith came about because most of the world we live in is unseen and it will
remain unseen until a person moves out. Then
the unseen will for him be seen. This
the seen world is just the effect of the unseen world.
The reality isn't in the seen but in the unseen and the only reason it is
unseen is because man has lost the consciousness of God of which the greater
part of His Being is in the unseen world.
Something
may be unseen but if you take the step, it will then appear and the taking of
that step is faith.
This
whole world, this whole physical world moves and runs on faith for when a person
makes a contract to buy a house he has stepped out on the faith that he will
keep his job which will let him bring in the money to pay the payments each
month.
The
term unseen world doesn't mean unreal world, it just means to a person who
hasn't developed his full range of sight that it isn't apparent. The unseen
world is as much "here and real" as the seen world.
The difference between the unseen and the seen is that in the unseen is
the source of all power.
